This is an excellent price for Microsoft Office 365 Family for 15 months. If you enable recurring billing I got an extra month making a total of 16 months. I then cancelled the recurring billing straight away. The redemption is really easy and Microsoft have made it a good experience. This does come with the added bonus of Norton anti virus for 15 months, but to activate it you have to enable recurring billing (which I cancelled) but I was a bit unsure as when you enter your credit card details, it does not mention that the subscription is included for the 15 months and it is worded not mentioning when the first payment will be taken. However, all was okay in the end. You get an email with a confirmation with your 2 keys on from Aamzon, including a link for Microsoft Office to activate it (there was no link for Norton I had to look it up on a search engine). Whether you are using this for the included OneDrive storage, or for the Microsoft Office applications this is one of the best ways to buy it. Remember that with Microsoft Office Family, you get a total of 6 licences which is 6tb spread over the 6 accounts at 1tb each. I tested Office on Android, Windows and Linux (Ubuntu, with the web browser) and all worked well. I only loaded Norton on to my Windows PC.

    I purchased 'Windows for Mac 2008' discs from Amazon for use initially on a MacBook pro many years ago (2008 obviously) but when updating my iMac again in 2025 a lot of files auto default opened as Pages that feels very clunky and layout of my documents just didn't work for me. Despite Apple store telling me the migration from one iMac to another would be fine - it just wasn't, and reluctantly I bought this downloadable copy as a gamble - being un-techy I expected this to fail for me and lose my purchase and money - however I can't believe how easy this has been - opening my purchase in Amazon went straight onto my iMac and all my original Word - Pages documents transferred automatically back into Word but now in the even better version ! I am now loving using the new Microsoft Word (and Teams and Excel...) and now don't curse the day I updated the iMac. This has been the first downloadable software that was painless and straightforward - un-be-lie-va-ble.

    I use a nine year old iMac with the Monterey operating system. I encountered a major issue with Libre Office's equivalent of Powerpoint, running very slowly, especially drag and drop functions. (Yes, I have checked why.) Meanwhile, I find Apple's Keynote a bit baffling as a lot of the functions appear to be lost down a rabbit hole; I like to see most of the buttons on display and ready to use.

    Having used MS Office on PCs and Macs for over two decades I decided to put my hand in my pocket and reduce the pain by buying a once-only purchase copy of Office (I think 'rent ware' is a rip off for casual users like me). It works fine on Mac OSX 12.7 Monterey. I mention this because the product description on Amazon doesn't make that clear (maybe after reading this they will), it was therefore a bit of a gamble.

    So, I am back in familiar territory and can get on producing material for lectures. All the controls are pretty much where they were on previous versions. Are there any downsides, apart from the eye-watering price? The download had some heart-stopping moments; near the end, the display said 'running package scripts' and indicated 'about a minute' left'. It took absolutely ages, with no indications of what was going on, while I reduced my finger nails to stumps. The next thing was the inevitable updating that kicked in within an hour or so. Make sure none of the Office apps are running otherwise the process hangs. Finally, one is steered towards Microsoft's cloud storage when saving, rather than the local drive. I soon figured out what to do.

    I’m reaching out regarding a frustrating issue I encountered with a product purchased from Amazon. The product description on the website stated that it was compatible with Mac (Latest iOS), which led me to purchase it. However, after following download and install instructions, I found that it wasn’t Mac-compatible, contrary to the description. If this had been clearly stated, I would never have made the purchase.

    This misunderstanding has caused significant stress and has left me out of pocket. I reached out to Microsoft for assistance, but they were unable to help, confirming that the product I purchased isn’t compatible with Mac, despite the misleading information provided on Amazon’s website. Microsoft can only offer technical support, and the responsibility for resolving the situation lies with Amazon, as the product was purchased directly through them.

    Following Amazon’s customer service instructions, I provided evidence of my communication with Microsoft, including the case number, to open a ticket and begin the refund process. However, I am still waiting for any resolution or confirmation from Amazon. I also inquired about receiving an e-voucher for the same value as the product, but was not offered this as an alternative. When I asked for my request to be escalated, I was given conflicting information from multiple representatives.

    I have now been in contact with four different representatives, and despite being told to email the Microsoft case number for the refund process to begin, I am receiving inconsistent responses from the same team. This situation has caused nothing but frustration, as I’m left without the product, refund, or any progress on resolving the issue.

    The lack of clarity and inconsistent communication from Amazon’s customer service has made this an extremely stressful experience.

    I could not download the product even after hours of trying. But in the end they put me through to JEETU of Technical Services who was absolutely excellent and helped me to sort it. It may help if the products were easier to download for ordinary bods like me without having to resort to the sheer brilliance of Technical Support bods like Jeetu

    I usually find a MS 365 deal somewhere for approx 15 months and have been using the personal account for the last 8 years. So far, this is the best deal I have come across. For the family deal alone it is well worth but, but including one of 3 choices of virus and malware protection across multiple devices is amazing for the deal.
    Reading other reviews, I waited until my current subscription ran out. Purchased this and activated it on the same day, and everything was instantly active on my Microsoft account. I shared access with family easily and have upgraded their cloud storage instantly.
    I researched the better choice from the virus protection software and opted for Norton 360, so far this has been brilliant. Easy to use and set up across all my devices. It asks for card details when setting up to activate subscription renewal, however as soon as your in the account you can deactivate this without it affecting your member ship for the full term.
    Overall brilliant deal, well worth the money (£72 when I purchased) and the Perk of having Norton 360 a great free add on making the whole package for 15 months a bargain.
